Tamsin Durston is a Registered Veterinary Nurse, an APDT-accredited dog training instructor and an ABTC-registered Clinical Animal Behaviourist, holding degrees in Companion Animal Behaviour, Welfare and Management, and Canine Behaviour and Training.

Tamsin currently works within Dogs Trust’s Canine Behaviour and Research Directorate, managing a team creating evidence-based programmes intended to embed behavioural principles within veterinary practice.

Tamsin is currently studying human psychology for an MSc in Behaviour Change, to gain further insight into the human-element of our bond with animals, in order to further empower owners to feel capable and confident to help modify their pet’s behaviour empathetically and effectively, as well as contributing to sustained improvements to animal and human welfare.
