Elin Williams

BSc Hons

Elin has had a lifelong passion for animals. She grew up with a variety of ‘small furries’ and loved working with horses and riding – experiencing both traditional methods and bitless riding. Her interest was not limited to domestic pets though.

As a teenager Elin volunteered at the Wildlife centre and also travelled to South Africa twice to volunteer at wildlife reserves. After struggling with her own dog behavioural issues Elin looked into finding a suitably qualified behaviourist and realised how difficult it was to find someone suitable when the field is unregulated.

This ignited her passion in wanting to contribute towards the field in a meaningful way and led her to undertaking her Bachelor of Science from Harper Adams University, as the course was accredited by ASAB as fulfilling the academic requirements to become a certified clinical animal behaviourist.

After graduating in 2018 she has spent time working in the animal industry, gaining experience in cat behaviour in particular, and is now working towards her level 1 supervised experience so that she can go on to become a certified clinical animal behaviourist and help owners improve their understanding of their animals.

Elin still has Reggie, the dog who started it all, along with her cat Molly
