Dr Emma Brown

BVSc PGDip MRCVS CCAB

Emma qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2001. She spent 15 years in mixed practice before moving to small animal practice in 2016. Emma is particularly interested in the links between disease and animal behaviour and especially how an understanding of behaviour can improve the welfare of the animals that share our lives.

In 2014 Emma completed a post graduate diploma in Applied Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Newcastle University. Emma is an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Companion Animal Behaviour and a Certificated Clinical Animal Behaviourist (CCAB), independently accredited by the Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour (ASAB). She is an Animal Behaviour & Training Council (ABTC) Registered Veterinary Behaviourist.

Emma has presented at conferences on various animal behaviour topics.
